Old Writeup

I was working on writing about the Prophet of Islam, but I think more time is needed , since I don't want to project a biased view, in the meantime a few thoughts.

A recent development has surfaced in the Iranian nuclear tryst, the letter from President Ahmadinejad to President Bush. This letter is written in Persian and the contents are not as much to do with the nuclear standoff or a diplomatic resolution to it but more to do with the philosophy of the western world and President Bush.
The letter is more like questions posed to Mr. Bush against a backdrop of turbulent old wounds of the Western and Middle Eastern world.I would like to quote some of Mr Ahamdinejads statement as it appeared in the NY Times.Quote "Again let us assume that these events are true," he (Mr. Ahmadinejad) wrote about the Holocaust. "Does that logically translate into the establishment of the state of Israel in the Middle East or support for such a state?" unquote. It seems Mr. Ahmadinejad is in doubt about recorded history, he asks President Bush to assume the events of the Holocaust to be true.

Is he trying to say that the Kristallnacht progrom of November 1938 or the T-4 Euthanasia Program, Extermination camps, and Killing squads leading to the death of over 10 Million human beings , 7 million in 1939 alone in Central and Eastern Europe is a myth ?. Adolf Hitler’s anti-semitic views are well documented in his book Mein Kampf published in 1925 and gives enough insight to what that man was capable of. Whether Mr. Ahamdinejads posit calls for a Jewish settlement in the Middle East is another question.
He goes on to say about 9/11, quote Mr. Ahmadinejad also calls the 9/11 attacks a "horrendous incident" in which the killing of innocent people was "deplorable."But he asks: "Why have the various aspects of the attacks been kept secret? Why are we not told who botched their responsibilities? And, why aren't those responsible and the guilty parties identified and put on trial?" unquote; so according to the President of Iran, the head of state; there is a conspiracy theory because he insists, why those responsible and other guilty parties are not put on trial. This is interesting because Michael Moore may have been right, or maybe, banking on media leaks, Mr. Ahmadinejad posited a question to Mr. Bush whose ramification can but include a “shadow on the credibility of the President of America”, atleast in the eyes of his own people(not that his abysmal 34% rating is any better).

Whether the President of Iran goes on to accuse some people further in the letter is not known as the media version of the letter is not consummate in details and continuity. Stating further in his letter to Mr. President, Mr. Ahamdinejad says, quote If billions of dollars spent on security, military campaigns and troop movement were instead spent on issues including health and aid to the poor, he wrote, "would there have been an ever increasing global hatred of the American governments?" unquote. This is one point the Iranian president has voiced for millions of people around the world who have looked up to America as a moral tutor including Americans themselves.
A country, whose defense spending is 50% the defense budget of the World, has to most certainly re-think its policies, especially foreign policy. This in consonance with American uni-lateral support for Israel and blotched policies when dealing with Palestine and some of the South American governments surely makes the Iranian Presidents question strong in reckoning.

The most interesting part of the letter which caught my eye was quote The Iranian president also extends to Mr. Bush an "invitation" to return to governing the United States based on the values of Jesus Christ, whose name in the letter is followed each time by the letters "PBUH," which stands for "Peace Be Upon Him."Frequently quoting passages from the Koran, Mr. Ahmadinejad calls for a return to a religious basis of government."Will you not accept this invitation?" Mr. Ahmadinejad asks Mr. Bush. "That is, a genuine return to the teachings of prophets, to monotheism and justice, to preserve human dignity and obedience to the Almighty and His prophets?" "Liberalism and Western style democracy have not been able to help realize the ideals of humanity," he wrote. "Today these two concepts have failed unquote.

It all finally returns back to where it started, the Abrahamic religions and their self devised confusions doled out through the hands of their own Prophet. Who is the last Prophet of God, who is the last Rasul? Tempting neo-philosophical terms like human dignity, obedience, monotheism as used by Mr. Ahamdinejad is a pseudo reflection of what the books have stated and what we human beings have followed.
This man the head of state of a nation, like a juvenile suggests a return to a “religious basis of government”, theocracy, to the President of the longest running most effective Democracy in the world. Hence a world which is increasingly becoming global and de-centralized and surely Panarchic in times ahead, has to revert back to a form of autocracy; autocracy since the most practiced monotheistic religions are but the philosophy and revealed Consciousness of their own Prophets. This inevitably leads to semi-presidential forms of government with a religious head of state.

Most theocratic states are living examples of oppression and deprivation of freedom of the human being(http://www.freedomhouse.org/uploads/fiw/FIWAllScores.xls). Human life has suffered enough in the hands of religious intolerance, to now build geographical boundaries based on theocracy and possibly end up in World War-3 or the “Last Crusade”. Well the initiatives of President Bush don’t fall far behind in defining small scale crusades in the Middle East. More so when he made a statement few months back that Christ had or rather God had asked him to go to war.
Maybe President Bush is a Messiah and he talked to what he thought was God, his awareness of Consciousness (chic) and thus made the statement. If you mention this to Noam Chomsky, you might get killed with his pen.Noam Chomsky through his recent book “Failed States” reflects his belief that the United States has the attributes of a failed state. Chomsky sees the US as an out of control predatory hegemon reserving for itself alone the right to wage permanent war on the world and justify it under a doctrine of "anticipatory self-defense" or preventive war.

The Bush administration claims justification in its actions, against any nation it sees as a threat to national security. Sacred international law, treaties and other standard and accepted norms observed by most other nations are just seen as "quaint (and) out of date" and can be ignored. It hardly matters to those in Washington that in the wake of WW II, the most destructive war ever, the UN was established primarily "to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war" and possibility of "ultimate doom." .The philosophy of Chomsky in determining a failed state, among others is;1. The threat of nuclear war2. Environmental disaster and its contributors3. The sharp divide between public opinion and public policyThe United States perceives and amply contributes atleast to the above three points in defining itself as a failed state. Despite this image, US policies intend to embark on a mission of democracy and peace, with very strong undertones of selfish political advantage and Oil access, but the bunch of un-realized beings that we are; the question is at what cost?

First Post

In order to further my motivation in advancing the "Universal Principle of Duality" as revealed and Vedanta as understood, I am going to be contributing my views and discourses for everyone to read and question. The mind is not just a perception of the individual and its manifest, it is a collective consciousness, like an Universal Puzzle, with bits of information distributed with and within everyone, humans, plants, animals, rocks, nebula, stars, galaxies and the universe itself are all parts of the all encompassing information, the information may be similar or completely disparate in physicality or experience but the collective consciousness is one. In drawing towards this revelatory principle of duality and the balance and purpose it manifests in all of creation, balance that we perceive and that we apparently don’t is my quest in bringing forth views and posts for the same.

Whenever one is initiated into a revolution it brings forth the basic issues surrounding human beings, governing security , fear of acceptance, mass hysteria due to change, crashing of beliefs and faiths etc. Throughout the annals of history, human beings have risen to challenges posed to them from either the outer manifest in the form of oppression, inequality, slavery, cultural bias, natural disasters etc or the turmoil from within, the qualitative approach and reproach to good and bad deeds as defined by culture, religion or self awareness.

In this struggle between the outer manifest and the inner experience, we find our self in a world which is ever so expanding not only in exploring the depths of creation but its purposes, journey and its end. The generic concepts of cause and effect as promulgated and advanced by scientists of the 16-20th century and the great divide since the days of Rene' Descartes between Science and Religion, created a more deeper impact on the intrinsic relationship between Science and Spirituality commonly called metaphysics. What was an apparent union was divided by the scriptural dogma of religion and the causal determinism of science.

Organized religion which triggered this divide, in my view is nothing but "spiritual politics ", and under the banner of single human experiences stands the 3 most practiced religions of the world, which in itself (like all other polytheistic/monotheist beliefs) have changed or have been modified by the scripture writers down the ages to a form, which is at times and at best, deviant and deformed version of actual history and for the present time and for all practical purposes less necessary.

When you look around yourself, into a world infested with hunger and poverty, oil and religious wars, political mess, cultural taboos, caste systems, religious factions, denomination of churches, female infanticide and circumcision, suicide bombers, fatwa and Jihads, rape, global warming, proselytizing, genocide etc, or you look into a personal world of lust, greed, encroaching tendencies, malice and deception, anger and ego, pompous, arrogant and selfish human being and you put the outer and inner manifest of our living experience together, we somehow haven’t managed to strike a harmonic balance to make our own experience smoother.
Why has the supposedly most consciously aware being bought upon thyself so much apathy? You also wonder why God(s) and his Prophets are not re-appearing with another holy book(maybe "Ingel" is sleeping) in their hands to re-map the face of human beings and change and mitigate all the suffering of living experience. Is he/she a sadist?

I apologetically defend human race as a weak race, which did seek the support of both religion and science but has not shown promising changes to its subtle being.Religion is a failed experiment and speaks very shallow of our purported Messiah and Prophets, because the followers of the Prophets gave super-human attributes to them, weaved stories of miracles and forgave their human weakness for the greater cause and mostly misunderstood their messages . Though this in no way undermines the Prophets as evolved beings or in my terminology more "aware" beings, yet these aware human beings failed to pass one important message that between human beings and God there is no middleman no son no messenger for we all are messengers for each other we collectively have to understand and realize god yet it will be only through individual experience though growth and human evolution is a combination of both personal experience and well as a group experience.

The Prophets have had very much a human existence(though some of them especially Jesus embodied the essence of God) and experience and their revelations were pertaining to the times they lived in.Two of the greatest Human beings ever to walk this planet who changed the history of human race posthumously are Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed, while much of history has not been recorded for Jesus who pre-dated Mohammed by 6 centuries, the prophet supposedly was born, lived and passed on in full view of history. Yet the earliest known writings about the Prophet written by Ibn Ishaq(b 809) the “Sirat Rasul Allah” meaning the prophet of God itself was written at least 4 generations after the Prophet passed on and its accuracy from the memories of Bedouins cannot itself be verified.

Most Muslims believe that everything said and done by the Prophet was somehow recorded in full view of history; this is not true, history is being ignored and in my later posts, I will bring forth some historical facts on the life of the Prophet (Pbuh), the reason for such an introduction is not to undermine him but to bring to light some human factors evidenced in history and he like any of us is just human a great human being and most certainly not the last Prophet.
This in essence is important because the philosophy of any religion should also be judged based on the quality of life of its propounder or else it is but blind belief. What is the need for such endeavors? such ranting.

There is a need for a paradigm shift in the understanding of the masses about themselves, human beings. Our parents leave an indelible mark on us both genetically as well as behaviorally, it is important that we need to embark on realizing awareness. We will be influencing our children and generations to come forever, our action will stay behind us and the truth can only be one.The chaos that we live in acceptance, is not the complete picture and thus a need for consummate understanding and change. Our experience of exaltation and suffering(Dukha in Buddhism) seems ephemeral and we so much need the security of God as we understand, but god manifests itself through ones Karma and among others Vedic astrology is one tool to explain it to the lay.

We, also will try and understand, free-will, destiny, theoritical Quantum Physics, Consciousness, Astrology, Cosmogny, System Theories, Tantra and other personal experiences in future posts. Like in the world of science Quantum Physics is realizing a path towards the unification of Science and Spirituality and that, to the modern man should be encouraging - for consummate transformation since we all seek a cause and effect answer to our phenomenal world. Since everything in the universe has a singularity we will also try to understand the Universe as per our needs and thus initiate transformation.

Human beings are gods themselves and each one of us is a Prophet for the other, under the umbrella of “Universal Consciousness” the all pervading information force-field. Its is my attempt through my posts to raise pertinent questions and alleviate us from living in fear of an omnipotent, omnipresent all pervading force who has supposedly laid down rules(sometimes with 99 names) among his creation and will also punish upon failing to follow, with life either in heaven(sometimes with several Virgins) or hell.
It is like a sadist who creates both the right and wrong in us and tests us to do what he has defined as right through the words of his Messenger. Messengers did pass some very applicable messages but alas only if we were machines.
